Our Approach and Philosophy:
Optimal Function through Comprehensive Pelvic Health

The pelvic floor is an essential group of core muscles that require specialized care. Our Physical Therapy approach to Women’s Health involves not just treating the pelvic floor in isolation, but also ensuring its integration back into the greater core system as a whole in order to function effectively and automatically.

A well-functioning pelvic floor is fundamental to the overall efficiency of the body. This crucial group of muscles not only controls bladder and bowel functions, provides support for pelvic organs, and plays a role in childbirth, but it's also an integral component of the core muscle system, contributing to spinal and abdominal stability.

Our approach is rooted in a comprehensive assessment that encompasses both external and internal evaluation of the pelvic and abdominal regions, as well as the hips and spine. This thorough analysis ensures an accurate diagnosis. Through hands-on mobilization and targeted neuromuscular retraining, we reestablish the vital connection between your brain and pelvic floor, along with surrounding joints and muscles. This process also alleviates any limitations to efficient movement. We prioritize education and the cultivation of healthy pelvic floor habits as pivotal aspects of our effective treatment approach.
