Scoliosis

Scoliosis is a condition in which the spine develops an abnormal sideways curvature, often appearing as an "S" or "C" shape when viewed from behind.
The condition occurs when the vertebrae do not grow symmetrically, resulting in changes to spinal alignment and posture. While scoliosis most commonly develops during adolescence, it can affect individuals of all ages and may continue to progress throughout adulthood.
Scoliosis can contribute to:
Postural asymmetries
Muscle imbalances
Back and neck pain
Reduced flexibility
Breathing limitations
Balance and movement dysfunction
Decreased athletic performance
The good news is that specialized scoliosis treatment can help improve posture, reduce symptoms, enhance function, and in some cases slow or reduce curve progression.
